Joe Ferry is grammy award winning record producer, author, bassist and educator. Over the course of his 35-year career, he has produced records and played bass for numerous artists, including The Skatalites, Dr. John, The Roches, The New Orleans Klezmer All-Stars, SKAndalous All-Stars, Uzimon, Huey Lewis and the News, and Joey Ray.The Big Ska Band, the group that Joe leads, has released several albums including a companion soundtrack for his debut novel, “Connected: Mob Stories From My Past,” featuring tracks by Augustus Pablo, King Tubby, Rita Marley, Victor Rice, The Butcha, Menace, Channel Tubes and The Big Ska Band.
